"Green Clothes, created with classical painting skills, is an annotation of a present, modern, gentle, Asian woman. In my mind the feminine, casual nature and slightly drooping face, echoes her green clothes. Her hands, crossed on her chest, gently press her clothes so that she projects a sense of modest beauty. The reconstruction of classical beauty is the ideal that I have been trying to pursue. The expression of these ideals has brought new vitality into my classical painting. The exploration of painting diversity and the concept of reconstructing classical painting techniques while basing the subject on modern life is my goal." – Wei Han
